Summary
A middle-aged New York documentary filmmaker and his wife, stuck in a creative and personal rut, become enchanted by a free-spirited younger hipster couple who seem to embody everything they have lost. As the friendship deepens, the older couple question their marriage, ambitions, and generation, while the younger husband's ambitions in documentary filmmaking raise uncomfortable questions about authenticity.
