Summary
After her husband's sudden death, suburban widow Nancy Botwin turns to dealing marijuana to maintain her family's upper-middle-class lifestyle in the fictional California subdivision of Agrestic. As her operation grows, she juggles PTA meetings, her two sons, her freeloading brother-in-law, and increasingly dangerous entanglements with suppliers, rival dealers, and law enforcement.
