Summary
A Special Forces veteran returns to his small hometown to find it overrun by corruption, drugs, and a crooked sheriff tied to the local casino owner who has replaced the closed lumber mill. After being framed and brutalized, he runs for sheriff himself and sets out to clean up the town his own way, armed with little more than a cedar four-by-four.
Released in 2004, Walking Tall is an action and crime film.
168 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 171 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track. A second review pool sits behind it as well: 4,511 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 7,846 2000s films, not against the whole corpus.
