Summary
Lucy Kelson, an idealistic Harvard-educated lawyer, agrees to become chief counsel for billionaire real estate developer George Wade in exchange for him sparing a community center she wants to save. As George's constant reliance on her for every trivial decision wears Lucy down, she submits her two weeks notice, forcing both to reckon with how much they have come to depend on each other.
