Summary
After her father is murdered by a hired hand, fourteen-year-old Farrell Mattie Ross hires aging, hard-drinking U.S. Marshal Rooster Cogburn to track the killer into hostile Indian Territory. A vain Texas Ranger named LaBoeuf, pursuing the same fugitive for a separate crime, joins the unlikely posse as the trio rides deeper into the wilderness.
