Summary
When a car bomb kills a businessman just after crossing from Mexico into a U.S. border town, Mexican narcotics official Miguel Vargas postpones his honeymoon to investigate alongside corpulent American police captain Hank Quinlan. As Vargas uncovers Quinlan's history of planting evidence, the corrupt cop retaliates by targeting Vargas's new American wife, drawing them all into a web of vice and revenge.
