Summary
Julie Taymor's stylized adaptation of Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus follows a victorious Roman general who returns from war with captive Goth queen Tamora and her sons. When Titus refuses Tamora mercy for her eldest son, she marries the new emperor and sets in motion a vicious cycle of revenge that consumes both families in escalating brutality.
