Summary
A devoted Catholic priest volunteers for a medical experiment to find a cure for a deadly virus, but the failed trial leaves him transformed into a vampire. Struggling to reconcile his faith with his new bloodlust, he becomes entangled with the unhappy wife of a childhood friend, and their affair spirals into obsession and violence. Park Chan-wook directs this darkly erotic Korean horror drama.
Thirst is a 2009 drama, fantasy and horror film.
A second review pool sits behind it as well: 36 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 7,846 2000s films, not against the whole corpus. 130 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 132 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track.
