Summary
Wei Wuxian, a gifted and irreverent cultivator, is dragged back into the world in a borrowed body sixteen years after his death and lands at once in a mystery: a dismembered corpse whose parts keep surfacing across the territories of the great cultivation clans. Bound to Lan Wangji, the rigidly disciplined Gusu Lan swordsman who studied beside him as a teenager, he tracks the pieces while the series flashes back to their youth — clan rivalries, the war that broke the cultivation world, and Wei Wuxian's turn to the forbidden demonic path that made him its most feared man. Adapted from Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's novel Mo Dao Zu Shi, this fifty-episode Chinese xianxia drama stars Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo.
