Summary
In Victorian England, an inventor builds a machine that lets him travel through time. After witnessing the wars of the 20th century, he journeys far into the future and discovers humanity has split into two races: the peaceful, childlike Eloi who live above ground, and the menacing Morlocks who dwell below. He befriends a young Eloi woman named Weena and resolves to help free her people.
