Summary
At Cambridge in the 1960s, brilliant cosmology student Stephen Hawking falls in love with literature student Jane Wilde just as he is diagnosed with motor neuron disease and given two years to live. As his body deteriorates and his scientific fame grows, Jane commits to building a life and family with him, and the film traces the strain, devotion, and eventual unraveling of their marriage across decades.
