Summary
During World War II, the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-Black, all-female Women's Army Corps unit deployed overseas, is sent to England under Major Charity Adams. Tasked with clearing a massive backlog of undelivered mail to American troops, the women battle racism, sexism, and harsh conditions to restore a vital link between soldiers and their families.
