Summary
In 1961, Irish Commandant Pat Quinlan leads a 150-strong UN peacekeeping force stationed in Jadotville, in the Katanga region of the Congo. Vastly outnumbered, his men come under sustained attack from thousands of Katangese troops and foreign mercenaries backed by mining interests, and must hold out with limited supplies while UN command struggles to send relief.
