Summary
In 1962 Baltimore, Elisa, a mute janitor working at a secretive government laboratory, discovers a mysterious amphibious creature being held captive and studied. As she forms a deep bond with the creature, she enlists the help of her neighbor and a coworker to free him before a ruthless government agent can have him destroyed.
