Summary
Based on real events, this miniseries follows Charles Sobhraj, a charming French serial killer who preyed on Western backpackers along Asia's Hippie Trail in the 1970s. As Sobhraj and his accomplices drug, rob, and murder their victims across Thailand, India, and Nepal, a dogged Dutch diplomat in Bangkok pieces together the crimes and pursues him across borders in a years-long effort to bring him to justice.
