Summary
Arrietty, a tiny teenage girl living secretly beneath the floorboards of a country house, ventures out on her first 'borrowing' expedition with her father to gather small household items they need to survive. When she is spotted by Sho, a sickly human boy who has come to the house to rest before surgery, an unlikely friendship forms that threatens to expose her family and force them to leave their home.
