Summary
In the 1820s American frontier, fur trapper Hugh Glass is mauled by a grizzly bear and left for dead by members of his hunting party after a fellow trapper murders his son. Battling brutal wilderness, starvation, and hostile encounters, Glass crawls and treks hundreds of miles across the unforgiving landscape, driven by a singular obsession: to find and avenge himself on the man who betrayed him.
