Summary
Bumbling French police inspector Jacques Clouseau travels to a posh Alpine ski resort to catch the notorious jewel thief known as the Phantom, who is targeting a priceless diamond called the Pink Panther owned by Princess Dala. Unbeknownst to Clouseau, the suave Sir Charles Lytton is the Phantom, and his own wife is the thief's accomplice, leading to a comedy of romantic entanglements and mistaken identities.
