Summary
After a biological war wipes out most of humanity, Army scientist Robert Neville survives in a deserted Los Angeles by injecting himself with an experimental vaccine. By day he hunts a cult of light-sensitive, plague-mutated survivors who blame science for the catastrophe; by night he barricades himself in his fortified penthouse. When he discovers a small band of uninfected people, he races to use his immune blood to save them.
