Summary
A deep-sea rescue diver is pulled out of retirement to save a research crew trapped at the bottom of the Mariana Trench after their submersible is attacked by a massive prehistoric shark, the Megalodon, long thought extinct. When the creature escapes into open ocean and threatens crowded beaches, the team races to hunt it down before it reaches shore.
