Summary

Mickey Haller, a slick Los Angeles defense attorney who works out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car, takes on a wealthy Beverly Hills playboy accused of brutally assaulting a woman. As Haller digs into the case, he uncovers disturbing connections to a previous client and finds himself trapped in an ethical and legal bind that puts his own life and family at risk.
