Summary
Rupert Pupkin, a delusional aspiring stand-up comedian, becomes obsessed with late-night talk show host Jerry Langford and is convinced that one shot on Jerry's show will launch his career. When polite brush-offs fail to deter him, Rupert teams up with a fellow obsessive fan and resorts to increasingly desperate measures to force his way into the spotlight.
