Summary
A British workplace sitcom set in the dingy basement IT department of Reynholm Industries, a London corporation. Socially awkward technicians Roy and Moss work alongside their clueless but ambitious manager Jen, who knows nothing about computers but was hired to lead them. The series follows their absurd misadventures, office politics, and run-ins with the eccentric Reynholm family upstairs.
Released in 2006, The IT Crowd is a comedy television series. Its comedy subtype is Satire.
164 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 170 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track. A second review pool sits behind it as well: 55 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 1,359 2000s television series, not against the whole corpus.
