Summary
Set in 1960s London and Berlin at the height of the Cold War, this miniseries adapts Len Deighton's novel about Harry Palmer, a working-class British Army sergeant turned reluctant intelligence operative. Recruited out of military prison by a shadowy WO unit, Palmer is tasked with investigating the kidnapping of a prominent British nuclear scientist, a case that draws him into a web of double-dealing, brainwashing, and betrayal.
