Summary
Bilbo Baggins, a comfort-loving hobbit, is swept into an adventure by the wizard Gandalf and a company of thirteen dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield, who seek to reclaim their homeland and treasure beneath the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug.
