A National Guard training unit in the New Mexico desert responds to a distress call and finds itself hunted by the inbred, mutant clan of cannibals descended from Cold War-era nuclear test survivors. As the soldiers are picked off one by one, the survivors must fight back against the predators stalking the irradiated hills.
