Summary
During World War II, an Allied team led by a master mountaineer is sent on a near-suicidal mission to scale a sheer cliff on the German-held Greek island of Navarone and destroy two massive radar-guided guns that command a vital sea channel. As they race against the clock to rescue 2,000 trapped British soldiers, the commandos must contend with treacherous terrain, enemy patrols, and a traitor in their midst.
