Summary
In the fictional Republic of Zubrowka between the world wars, Gustave H., the legendary concierge of the Grand Budapest Hotel, takes young lobby boy Zero Moustafa under his wing. When a wealthy dowager dies and leaves Gustave a priceless Renaissance painting, her vengeful family frames him for murder, sending Gustave and Zero on a caper involving prison breaks, a secret society of concierges, and a fascist regime closing in.
