Summary
Edward Wilson, a reserved Yale student recruited into the OSS during World War II, rises through the ranks to become a founding architect of the CIA. As he navigates Cold War espionage, mole hunts, and the fallout of the Bay of Pigs, his obsessive secrecy and divided loyalties slowly corrode his marriage and his relationship with his son.
