Summary

Twenty years after a high school stage accident killed a student during a production of 'The Gallows,' a group of teenagers breaks into the school the night before a revival of the same play, intending to sabotage the set. Trapped inside after dark, they find themselves stalked by a vengeful presence tied to the original tragedy. The found-footage horror follows their increasingly desperate attempts to escape.

The Gallows is a 2015 horror, mystery and thriller film.

Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 13,058 2010s films, not against the whole corpus. A second review pool sits behind it as well: 498 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. 160 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 164 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track.
