Summary
Set during the 1944 Battle of the Scheldt in the Netherlands, this Dutch war film follows three intersecting characters: a young Dutch teenager fighting for the Germans, a British glider pilot stranded behind enemy lines, and a Dutch nurse drawn into the resistance. Their fates converge as Allied forces struggle to clear the Scheldt estuary and open the port of Antwerp.
