Summary
A widowed mother out for a run in the woods near her small town receives word that her son's school is on lockdown due to an active shooter. Cut off from her child and racing against time, she must use her phone and her wits to navigate the forest and try to reach him before it's too late.
Released in 2021, The Desperate Hour is an action, drama and thriller film.
194 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 201 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track. A second review pool sits behind it as well: 31 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 7,929 2020s films, not against the whole corpus.
