Summary
William Tell, a haunted ex-military interrogator turned disciplined low-stakes gambler, drifts between casinos counting cards and living a rigidly ascetic life. When a young man seeking revenge on the officer who corrupted them both crosses his path, Tell takes him under his wing and partners with a backer to chase a poker tournament payday, hoping to steer the kid away from violence and toward something like redemption.
