Summary
A coordinated breakout empties four prisons built for super-criminals, the Vault, the Cube, the Big House and the Raft, and Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and the Wasp find themselves fighting the same escapees often enough to form a team. Working out of Tony Stark's mansion, the Avengers add Captain America, thawed after decades in Arctic ice, and Black Panther, while Loki, Kang the Conqueror and the shape-shifting Skrulls pursue longer designs behind the week-to-week chaos. The Disney XD animated series adapts decades of Marvel comics into season-long arcs, with Hawkeye, Black Widow and Ms. Marvel moving in and out of the roster.
