Summary
After being viciously attacked by a gang on his way home, a meek accountant joins a local karate dojo to learn how to defend himself. Under the tutelage of an enigmatic and charismatic sensei, he gains confidence and embraces a more aggressive worldview, but soon discovers the dojo harbors disturbing secrets that force him to confront what masculinity and self-defense really mean.
