Summary
After a military satellite crashes near a small New Mexico town and kills nearly everyone there, a team of elite scientists is rushed to a secret underground lab to identify and contain the extraterrestrial microorganism responsible. As they race through sterilization protocols and biological analysis, they discover the pathogen is mutating in unpredictable ways, threatening both the facility's nuclear self-destruct system and the world outside.
