Summary
In the final days of 1999 Los Angeles, ex-cop Lenny Nero deals in illicit SQUID recordings - playback discs that let users experience another person's memories and senses firsthand. When a disturbing clip implicating corrupt police in a high-profile murder lands in his hands, Lenny and his friend Mace are drawn into a deadly conspiracy as the city teeters on the edge of millennium chaos.
