Summary
Ray, a bumbling ex-con, recruits a crew of inept criminals to tunnel into a bank vault from a nearby storefront, using his wife Frances's cookie shop as a front. When the heist plan flounders, the cookie business unexpectedly takes off, vaulting the couple into the world of nouveau-riche New York society, where Frances tries to gain culture while Ray longs for his old life.
