Summary
In 1985 small-town Ireland, coal merchant Bill Furlong delivers fuel to the local convent and discovers a young woman locked in the coal shed, forcing him to confront the town's complicity in the Magdalene laundries. Haunted by memories of his own mother's struggles, he must decide whether to stay silent like his neighbors or risk his family's standing to do what he believes is right.
