Summary
After their cargo ship Demeter is crippled, the surviving crew scatter in escape pods across Vesta, a planet whose biology runs on parasitism, mimicry and chemical bargains none of them can read. Ursula and Sam set out on foot for the downed vessel; Azi crosses the wastes with her salvage robot Levi; and Kamen, alone and guilt-ridden, falls under the influence of a creature that feeds on his mind. Created by Joseph Bennett and Charles Huettner from their short film, the animated series treats the ecosystem itself as the antagonist, tracking each group's route and the organisms they misjudge along the way.
