Summary
Daniel 'Rudy' Ruettiger, an undersized working-class kid from Illinois, refuses to give up on his dream of playing football for Notre Dame despite lacking the grades, money, and physical gifts. After grinding through Holy Cross junior college and earning a spot on Notre Dame's scout team as a walk-on, he fights to dress for just one game before he graduates.
