Summary
In a corporate-controlled future where nations have been replaced by global conglomerates, the brutal sport of Rollerball is engineered to demonstrate the futility of individual effort. When veteran star player Jonathan E. refuses to retire on command, the executives keep changing the rules to break him, escalating the violence in hopes of eliminating him and the dangerous idea he represents.
