Summary
In 1960s Italy, small-time grifter Tom Ripley is hired by a wealthy shipping magnate to travel to the Amalfi Coast and persuade his wayward son Dickie Greenleaf to return home. Drawn into Dickie's privileged world, Ripley's envy curdles into obsession, deception, and a cascade of crimes he must coldly cover up. Shot in stark black and white, the series follows his cat-and-mouse evasion of suspicious friends and a dogged inspector.
