Pink Floyd: The Wall

Summary

A burned-out rock star named Pink, isolated in a Los Angeles hotel room, retreats into hallucinatory memories of his father's wartime death, a smothering mother, abusive schoolmasters, and a failed marriage. As he mentally builds a wall to shut out the world, he spirals into a fascist fantasy before facing a surreal inner trial. Adapted from the Pink Floyd album, the film unfolds largely through music and animation rather than dialogue.
