Summary
A talented attorney at a prestigious Philadelphia law firm is fired after his bosses discover he has AIDS. Believing the dismissal was discrimination disguised as performance issues, he hires a small-time personal injury lawyer - one initially uncomfortable with his client's illness and sexuality - to sue the firm in a landmark courtroom battle over prejudice and dignity.
