Summary
A single dollar bill passes from hand to hand through a small Rust Belt town where the steel mill still sets the rhythm of local life, and where several people have just been found murdered. Craig Zobel's ten-episode CBS All Access series uses the bill's route as its structure: each hour attaches to a different person who holds it, from mill workers to the plant's ownership to the police handling the case, and each reveals another piece of what happened. Class resentment in a post-recession town runs beneath the investigation, and the residents' accounts of one another keep shifting as the money circulates.
