Summary
Continuing two and a half years after the original series, Naruto Uzumaki returns to Konohagakure after training with Jiraiya and reunites with his comrades to rescue Gaara from the mysterious Akatsuki organization. As the threat of the tailed-beast-hunting Akatsuki grows, Naruto and his allies confront powerful enemies while Naruto pursues his goal of bringing Sasuke back and becoming Hokage.
