Mansfield Park

Summary

Sent from her impoverished family to live with wealthy relatives at Mansfield Park, young Fanny Price grows into a sharp-witted observer of the Bertram household's affairs. As she navigates the family's romantic entanglements and her cousin Edmund's growing affection, the arrival of the charming Crawford siblings tests her principles and reshapes her future. Patricia Rozema's adaptation blends Austen's novel with the author's own letters and a frank look at the slave-trade wealth funding the estate.
