Summary
This documentary recounts French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's audacious 1974 walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. Blending interviews, archival footage, and reenactments, it traces the years of planning, the clandestine rigging of a cable a quarter-mile above Manhattan, and the team of accomplices who helped pull off what became known as the artistic crime of the century.
