Summary
During the Korean War, irreverent U.S. Army surgeons Hawkeye Pierce, Trapper John, and Duke Forrest are drafted into the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, where they cope with the bloody grind of battlefield medicine by waging an unrelenting campaign of pranks, boozing, and insubordination against the unit's by-the-book officers, including Major Frank Burns and head nurse 'Hot Lips' Houlihan.
